ABOUT DR. DARRELL SMITH
New York City native Darrell Smith, PhD is a talented drummer, historian, composer and educator. Smith recently received his Doctorate of Musical Arts from SUNY Stony Brook and studied under jazz program director Ray Anderson. As a band leader, Smith frequently performs with his Dal Segno Trio at popular New York venues where they are celebrated for high-energy, spirited performances.
