JAZZ HOUSE Legacy, directed by Caelan Cardello is composed of an elite group of alumni of JAZZ HOUSE KiDS who are rising stars in the jazz world. The all-star group has recently been featured at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Sarah Vaughan Centennial hosted by Dee Dee Bridgewater with past winners of the Sarah Vaughan Competition including Cyrille Aimee, Jazzmeia Horn, Lucia Gutierrez Rebolloso, Quiana Lynell and Tyreek McDole. Legacy has also recently performed at the RALPH PUCCI 8th Annual Jazz Set, a benefit for JAZZ HOUSE KiDS with special guest Sting and host Christian McBride; the 2023 Montclair Jazz Festival; and the Jazz Gallery in New York City. Each year, these talented musicians are welcomed aboard The Jazz Cruise, hosted by Christian McBride, and perform for thousands of fans along with a stellar lineup of jazz greats.
This was an incredibly well-written and inspiring piece on the legacy of Jazz House. The way you highlighted both the cultural and community impact made it very engaging to read. It’s always refreshing to see how music initiatives continue to shape future generations.
